ASUS seems likely to unveil a laptop at the upcoming CES show with some sort of 3D screen technology. Based on some new teasers that the company appears primed to share prior to the event at some point. Android Headlines has acquired these three teasers from ASUS ahead of time. And they all point to the company coming out with a 3D laptop. Or rather, a laptop with a 3D display.
The first teaser is a video showing the ASUS logo drawn in 3D. Before transforming into ‘CES’ at the end. This suggests that whatever ASUS has planned exactly, it’s happening at CES, and it’ll incorporate 3D. The next teaser is simply an optical illusion. Stare at the center of the image long enough to reveal something hidden in the picture. This is also where you get first glimpse at the laptop in question. It’s the third teaser though that happens to be the most revealing.
ASUS to reveal a laptop with a 3D OLED display at CES
In the third and final teaser, ASUS gives a better look at the laptop. The teaser video, which you can watch below, ends with the laptop in full view and objects that look like 3D flowers made from paper popping out of the display. There’s also the message that this will be “a new dimension for OLED,” and that viewers will be “seeing an incredible future” at the CES launch event that ASUS has planned.
That’s all that ASUS has shared so far. And while it’s clear that the company is showing off a laptop at CES, one with an OLED display that’s seems capable of displaying things in 3D, perhaps glasses-free no less, there’s little else to pick up. ASUS has shared no specifications, no availability details, and no price points in its teasers.
And understandably so. Because why give away all the exciting information before the official reveal next month. ASUS will no doubt have more to share leading up to CES but for now, the company seems content to let our minds wander with these teasers. You can see all three of them below.
