It’s been a while since Google made the Android 12 OS official. Since then, smartphone OEMs have been working hard in delivering the Android 12 update for their devices. By far, Samsung has taken the lead among its competitors.

However, due to some bugs, Samsung had to stop the Android 12 One UI 4.0 update rollout, which recently resumed for its devices. Surprisingly, ASUS has now joined the bandwagon, because as per the latest report, the Android 12 update is rolling out for the ASUS ZenFone 8 lineup.

Yes! You read it right. After several beta updates, the stable Android 12 update is now finally live for the ASUS ZenFone 8 and the ASUS ZenFone 8 Flip.

What makes this rollout interesting is that a couple of months back, ASUS released its Android 12 release schedule. According to the schedule, both the ASUS ZenFone 8 and 8 Flip were supposed to pick up the update sometime in December.

Well, it seems like the company has stuck true to its words, as according to an official forum post, the update is actually rolling out for both the ASUS ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip.

The announcement is also attached with download links of the firmware. So, if you are interested, you can manually upgrade your ZenFone 8 series phones using the package files.
