There are few sights more wholesome than watching a Nazi get what’s coming to them. Classics of the genre are Richard Spencer receiving swift justice soon after Trump’s first inauguration and a Seattle Nazi (literally swearing a swastika armband) rapidly realizing that, actually, people really, really hate Nazis.
Now we have one more to add to the compilation. As per this X post, someone chose to wear a bright orange shirt featuring the logo of the Nazi SS to the Punk Rock Bowling festival in Las Vegas. It’s safe to say this did not go down well with the punks in attendance. The Nazi in question – who looks like Jack Black’s evil twin – is set upon by multiple people, shoved over, punched in the safe, berated, kicked, and eventually escorted out of the festival by security:

As you might expect, the replies are full of faux-sincerely concerned blueticks wringing their hands about a Nazi facing consequences for their choices. With wide, innocent eyes like a lil’ puppy they whimper: “People should learn to respect everyone even if we don’t agree with someone”, wail that this must be the “understanding and loving left” and that this is simply “people assaulting this man for wearing a hat and shirt they dislike.”
Why this is necessary
It’s at this point that we should bring up the “one polite Nazi” scenario that explains why this treatment is necessary. In this thread from 2020, a man recounts an incident at a punk bar where a man walked in wearing Nazi badges and the bartender immediately told him to “get out”. The man replies, “Hey, I’m not doing anything, I’m a paying customer”, only for the bartender to pull out a baseball bat. The man leaves, yelling. Then the bartender explains what just happened:
“You have to nip it in the bud immediately. These guys come in and it’s always a nice, polite one. And you serve them because you don’t want to cause a scene. And they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.
And THEY bring friends and the friends bring friends and then you realize, oh ****, this is a Nazi bar now. And it’s too late because they’re entrenched, and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.
So, these punks did the right thing: if you give Nazis an inch they’ll take a mile. There can be no tolerance for anyone wearing an SS shirt in public, so if you ever see one, don’t feel like you have to be polite when ordering them to leave, immediately.
