Amazon has just announced their lineup of games for June for its Luna cloud gaming service. There’s 10 new games dropping this coming month include Samurai Warriors 5 and two Resident Evil titles. While Resident Evil is a universally well-known franchise across the globe, some may be less familiar with the Samurai Warriors series.
It’s published by Koei Tecmo and features the same kind of gameplay as Dynasty Warriors. It’s filled with hack and slash action and centers around defeating large and increasing waves of enemies. As for the Resident Evil games, subscribers will get access to Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3. It should also be noted that these are the reboots. Not the originals which released on the PS1. All three games will be added to the Luna+ channel at some point in June. Amazon hasn’t announced official release dates yet though.
June is a big month for Luna subscribers who are also fans of Mega Man games
While there’s 8 games coming to the service in June, technically, there’s really 15. One of the games is the Mega Man Legacy Collection. Which actually includes six Mega Man titles from the series’ origins. Specifically Mega Man 1-6.
All of these titles will be added to the Retro Channel in one bundle. In the Prime Gaming channel, you’ll be able to play Far Cry 4, Bloodrayne 2: Terminal Cut, Beach Buggy Racing 2: Hot Wheels Edition, Lumies Remastered, and Moving Out.
The last game being added to the service is Riptide GP Renegade from Vector Unit. Which also develops the Beach Buggy Racing series. Riptide GP Renegade is a racing game that has you illegally racing around city water ways on hydro jets. The series originally made its debut on Android and iOS, but made the jump to consoles and PC with the launch of Renegade in 2016.
And don’t forget, all of this month’s games are available to play too. Which includes Get Packed, Ghostrunner, Ride 4, Metal Slug 3, and a mega bundle including 20 retro Capcom games. Basically, there’s a lot to play as Luna continues to grow its library of games. Though it still has a long way to go to catch up to GeForce NOW.
