After Fan Edition (FE) phones and tablets, Samsung is now gearing up to launch its first-ever FE-series TWS earbuds. Called the Galaxy Buds FE, the new wireless earphones are expected to debut in early October. The Korean firm has just confirmed that through Amazon India. The e-commerce platform has put up a “notify me” page where you can sign up to get a notification when the buds go on sale.
The Galaxy Buds FE’s October launch confirmed
Amazon hasn’t revealed the launch date but the addition of a product page for the Galaxy Buds FE suggests the buds will go on sale during its “Great Indian Festival” sales event in early October. The page states that the new pair will deliver an excellent listening experience “for everyone.” The teasers published on the platform further add that the upcoming Samsung earbuds will offer premium and rich sound quality with powerful bass “for everyone.”
The repeated use of the phrase “for everyone” is a hint at its affordable price. While we don’t have the pricing details, earlier leaks have revealed that Samsung will price the Galaxy Buds FE at $99.99. That makes it the cheapest TWS offering from the Korean firm yet. Its current flagship audio product, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, debuted in August 2022 with a price tag of $230. The Galaxy Buds 2 from 2021 is a mid-range TWS pair priced at $150 at launch.
Despite its relatively affordable price tag, the Galaxy Buds FE should give you a decent audio experience. Leaks have already revealed that Samsung will equip the buds with an AKG-tuned 12mm driver, a 3-way speaker, and three microphones each. The earphones support ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and ambient mode. Each bud has a touch control panel and boasts wear detection, Auto Switch, SmartThings Find compatibility, and water resistance.
Samsung has several other devices in the pipeline
The Galaxy Buds FE is just one of a bunch of new mobile devices Samsung has in the pipeline. The company is preparing to launch the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, Galaxy Tab A9, Galaxy Tab A9+, and Galaxy SmartTag 2 in the coming weeks. It has already released official teasers for these products. They also have “notify me” pages on Amazon India or Flipkart, an Indian e-commerce platform.
The pages confirm that these Samsung products will go official during the upcoming festive season sales events on the two online retail platforms (Flipkart’s sales event is called The Big Billion Day). We even have a precise launch date and price bracket for some of the new devices. It’s now only a matter of time before the Korean firm formally takes the wraps off its newest offerings.
