Amazfit has decided to throw its own smart ring into the… well, ring. The Amazfit Helio is its name, and it’s coming to the US later this month. That smart ring was announced back in January during CES 2024.
The Amazfit Helio smart ring is coming to the US on May 15
That being said, it will go on sale in the US on May 15, to be more accurate. You’ll need to set aside $299 in order to grab this smart ring. If you do end up getting an Amazfit smartwatch too (the Amazfit Cheetah Pro or Amazfit T-Rex Ultra), however, the Helio will set you back only $149. In other words, you’ll get a $150 discount.
This company is known for its fitness trackers and smartwatches. A smart is a brand new product for Amazfit. It looks nice, but it remains to be seen how will it perform.
This smart ring is made out of titanium alloy, and it weighs less than 4 grams. Amazfit said that the Helio ring is best for tracking recovery and sleep. “The sensor’s proximity to the user’s pulse enables even more accurate health data measurement – resulting in unparalleled recovery monitoring, analysis, and guidance when data is collated in the Zepp App for athletes looking to pursue every competitive edge”, said the company.
It comes with 10 ATM water resistance rating, and various other capabilities
The Amazfit Helio comes with 10 ATM water resistance rating. It can provide stats such as sleep score, full recovery time, blood oxygen, sleep heart rate variability, and sleep resting heart rate.
One thing to note is that the Amazfit Helio is coming in limited sizing options, only 10 and 12 sizes. Amazfit did say that more sizing options will be available in the future. We’re still not sure when, though.
This smart ring is expected to compete with the upcoming Galaxy Ring and various other offerings that are already available in the market.
