The OnePlus Nord 2T just surfaced, giving us the very first look at the upcoming phone. The phone’s render appeared, as it has been shared by 91mobiles. This phone does look quite interesting.
The OnePlus Nord 2T may feature a sandstone backplate
Only its back side surfaced, but there’s plenty going on here. As you can see, there are two separate circular camera modules on the back. It seems like cameras will be included in each of them.
The top module will include a larger sensor, while the bottom one will have two smaller ones. Two LED flash units are also placed on the back, right next to those camera units.
What’s also interesting is the fact this phone has a sandstone back cover. The phone does look different than other OnePlus smartphones due to all this. Do note that this is our very first look at the device, though, and we cannot confirm this image is legit.
The source says that the render has been provided by an “industry source”, so we’ll see. Its physical buttons are not even visible on the sides, so it seems more of a mockup than anything else.
A 90Hz AMOLED display is expected, along with 80W charging
The device is rumored to feature a 6.43-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Its display will be flat, allegedly. The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC was mentioned as well.
Android 12 will come pre-installed on the phone, along with OxygenOS 12. Three cameras are tipped for the phone’s back, a 50-megapixel main camera, and both 8 and 2-megapixel units. A single 32-megapixel snapper may sit on the front.
A 4,500mAh battery was also rumored, and the device is expected to offer 80W fast wired charging. We’re not sure when exactly is the phone coming, but it’s expected to launch soon, probably in April or May.
