It’s a good time to be a gamer! CES is a time when several companies, including gaming companies, are gathering in Las Vegas to show off their latest and greatest technology. Gaming tech company Alienware is among the companies, and it has some rather exciting stuff to show off. Alienware showed off a new desktop, laptop, and 4K monitor at CES, and we’re all excited for them.

Alienware shows off some great tech during CES 2025, and that starts with a monitor

If you’re a gamer, then you’ll want a powerful monitor along with your powerful computer or console. The Alienware 27 4K QLED OLED monitor fits that bill. It comes with a jaw-dropping OLED panel that will make every game you play on it look amazing. The crisp 4K resolution, coupled with the 240Hz refresh rate is the icing on the cake.

A dedicated Creator Mode will change up the color space so you can produce content on the computer as well. So, after a long afternoon of playing Elden Ring, you can edit a video of you playing that game. With 360° ventilation and great cable management, it’s no wonder why this monitor gained a CES 2025 Innovation Award.

Next, there are the Area-51 Laptops

Alienware is known for its amazing gaming laptops, and the company did not disappoint with its newly announced lineup. At CES, it gave us a sneak peek of its 16-inch and 18-inch Area-51 laptops.

Surprising no one, these computers come with some serious power behind them. You’ll have your choice of CPUs, but the most powerful one you can get is the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, which is a beast. As for the GPU, these laptops will use Nvidia’s most powerful chips. So, you’ll be able to run all of the latest games on the market… You’ll also be able to store all of the latest games on the market, as you can get up to 12TB of storage!

Adding to these laptops’ charm is the design. Alienware says that it took inspiration from the Aurora Borealis when designing them. That’s pretty neat, and you’ll see this reflected in the flowing lighting effects. Additionally, the company says that these computers offer 35% better airflow than their predecessors, which is always welcomed. Also, they’re 15% quieter than their predecessors.

These new laptops start at $1,999 for entry-level models, and they’ll officially launch in late Q1 2025.

Lastly, we have the Alienware desktop

Rounding out this announcement, we have the Alienware Area-51 Desktop. The most striking thing about this desktop is the very alien design. It has this elongated pill shape with a see-through glass panel on the side. Also, there’s a light ring on the front of the chassis.

Coming with three different-sized fans, this computer doesn’t only look cool, it runs cool as well. The company says that the new system’s design can push out 25% more air despite not having an exhaust fan.

Just like the laptops, this desktop comes with the latest that Nvidia has to offer, and it tops out with the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU. This computer will launch with a price tag of $4,499 later this quarter, but other configurations will launch afterward.
