Aiper, a company that specializes in smart devices for irrigation and pool maintenance, also attended CES 2025. Aiper brought to the big tech event a couple of interesting smart home products that target two very specific niches. The Scuba X1 Pro Max is a cleaner robot that will keep your pool spotless, while the IrriSense Sprinkler is an easy-to-set-up smart irrigation system.
Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max is an all-in-one pool robot cleaner
The new Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max can handle virtually every aspect of pool cleaning. It can help you get rid of algae as well as dirt, sand, or leaves. The company says that one full charge is enough to clean up to 3,230 square meters of in-ground pools. The robot measures 19.7 x 16.8 x 11.7 inches (500 x 428 x 298 mm) and weighs 33 pounds (15 kg).
It works through a complex system of 24 ultrasonic sensors along with Aiper’s OmniSense+ 2.0 and FlexiPath 2.0 technologies. This setup enables it to accurately map the pool so it can reach every corner. The robot is able to dynamically adapt its path to avoid obstacles. It also boasts of 9 motors and a suction rate of 8500 GPH. The Dual-Jet stabilizing technology allows the Scuba X1 Pro Max to adhere to walls while cleaning to attack the most difficult stains. You can take advantage of all these features through its eight cleaning modes.
Aiper offers an optional complementary accessory to monitor water quality. This is the HydroComm Pro, a device whose battery charges itself thanks to its integrated solar panels. It can also communicate with the Scuba X1 Pro Max even while it is underwater. The HydroComm Pro can keep an eye on the water’s temperature, ORP (oxidation-reduction potential), ERP (electrical conductivity), TDS (total dissolved solids), and pH levels.
The Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max will be available in mid-February for $2,299. The optional HydroComm Pro will cost $379 and be available starting in March. Aiper also offers a transport cart for the Scuba X1 Pro Max for a price of $199.
Aiper IrriSense Smart Irrigation Sprinkler is easy to install
Aiper has also brought its latest smart watering solution to CES 2025. The firm boasts that the IrriSense Smart Irrigation Sprinkler is simple to install. You won’t need to dig under your yard to make room for pipe systems or anything like that. In fact, the installation process will take you about 15 minutes, says the firm.
Since it’s not a system powered by underground pipes, you’ll need a hose that reaches a faucet. The device comes with a 33-foot waterproof power cord that makes it easy to plug it in somewhere nearby. You can secure the product to the ground with four stakes that you can remove when needed.
The device’s sprinkler stream boasts a range of up to 39 feet and an area coverage of up to square feet. The oscillating spray pattern is customizable through a manual mapping process. You’ll need to point out locations to the product so it “learns” where to oscillate while watering. This also gives you more versatility to keep areas dry if you so require. Plus, the system is great for saving water.
The IrriSense Smart Irrigation Sprinkler’s routine is programmable through a dedicated app. However, it can also act intelligently based on the weather. A set of sensors (one on the device and others that you can place on the ground) enable this feature. Lastly, the IrriSense Sprinkler can do more than just water. It can also spray liquid pesticides or fertilizers.
The product will be available in May for a price of $399.
