Sony’s WH-1000XM4 headphones are still an excellent pair of headphones, so when you can get them for a deal like the one Amazon is currently offering, you should take the opportunity to snap them up. Normally, the WH-1000XM4 headphones retail for $349.99 when they’re full price. However, Amazon currently has them for $248.
It’s worth noting that this is not the all-time low price. The lowest we’ve seen these is $198, but they haven’t been that price for the past few months. Additionally, these headphones have been down to $248 before. That being said, this is probably the best price available for quite some time.
In terms of features, the WH-1000XM4 headphones are known far and wide for their really good active noise cancellation. These are capable of filtering just about anything out, so all you hear is your music. And trust me when I say this is such a good trait when you’re using the headphones out in public. Whether that be at a coffee shop, on a plane, on a train, in the grocery store, or anywhere else where it tends to get noisy with lots of other ambient sounds.
These also have pretty decent battery life and can last for up to 30 hours on a single charge. What’s more, they support quick charge, and with just 10 minutes on the charger, you can get 5 hours of playback. One of my favorite features, though, is the Quick Attention Mode.
What’s cool about this feature is that it activates Transparency Mode so you can hear others around you. To enable Quick Attention Mode, you place your hand over the right ear cup and hold it there. To disable it, you just remove your hand, and the ANC comes back on. It’s really handy for quick situations where you need to talk to someone for a brief moment.
