The newest iPad Pro is currently on sale over at Best Buy. The 11-inch model is $100 off, dropping down to $899, while the 13-inch model is $200 off making it just $1099. These are all-time lows for both iPads actually.
The new iPad Pro was announced earlier this year, so it’s currently the newest iPad from Apple. Surprisingly, it is the first time that Apple has done OLED on an iPad, despite the iPhone having had it for about six years now. This is using a new Tandem OLED technology, which basically stacks two OLED panels on top of each other. The reasoning for this is to make the OLED panel brighter without destroying the colors (one of the main benefits of OLED). This iPad gets incredibly bright, especially for an OLED display, at 1,000 nits.
I’ve been using my 13-inch iPad Pro for the past couple of days, and absolutely love this thing. It does have the M4, which is obviously very powerful for an iPad. And it was actually the first product from Apple to sport the M4, even before any new Macs had it. Which is quite surprising. Unfortunately, iPad OS still doesn’t really take full advantage of all the power the M4 has to offer. But this does mean that it will be future-proof for quite some time.
The 13-inch iPad Pro is also the thinnest iPad that Apple has ever made. It’s incredibly thin, but somehow still pretty durable. It did survive endless bend tests, which is quite impressive because we all know how well the iPhone 6 and 6S did in the past.
