A brand new source has just confirmed a bunch of iPhone 16 Pro rumors. The information comes from Landsk, who published it via Naver. He says that the info is coming from China.
He claims that the iPhone 16 Pro will add two colors, which are supposed to replace ‘Blue Titanium’ and ‘Natural Titanium’ of the iPhone 15 Pro. Those two colors are Desert Yellow and Cement Gray. They could be called Titanium Gold and Cement Titanium Gray, though.
The iPhone 16 Pro series to offer a new custom Sony sensor
The source also says that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature a 48-megapixel main camera with a custom Sony IMX903 main sensor. It will use 1MG+, 7P molded glass-plastic module. The iPhone 15 Pro Max, on the other hand, uses the Sony IMX803 sensor.
What’s interesting here is that the iPhone 16 Pro Max was mentioned in specific, not the iPhone 16 Pro series. Both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to use the same main camera, though.
The source said that the iPhone 16 Pro will add a 2TB variant. Many people have been asking for this, mainly those who record videos in Apple’s ProRes format. It’s really easy to fill up the storage that way.
The screen sizes of the iPhone 16 Pro that were mentioned in rumors have been reiterated here
What was also reiterated is the screen sizes of the two ‘Pro’ phones. The iPhone 16 Pro will offer a 6.3-inch panel, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature a 6.9-inch display. That’s something we’ve heard plenty of times thus far.
The thing that caught my eye is the battery detail that Landsk shared. He claims that the iPhone 16 Pro series will come with a “larger battery to provide longer battery life that can exceed 30 hours”.
What’s interesting is that a recent rumor said that the iPhone 16 Pro will barely have a larger battery, an increase of only 2%. That’s not great considering that the display will be bigger. Perhaps the source meant the iPhone 16 Pro Max, not the iPhone 16 Pro.
