We’re just a few months out from the second season of Loki, the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s first-ever second season of anything that will no doubt serve as a linchpin for the Multiverse Saga’s overarching narrative.

After quite literally witnessing the creation of the multiverse last season, the second run will see the eponymous god of mischief assemble a crack team consisting of himself, Hunter B-15, and Mobius M. Mobius in order to undertake a multiversal search for Sylvie, Ravonna, and Miss Minutes, all while contending with the looming threat of Victor Timely, one of Kang the Conqueror’s variants.

Mobius’ return in particular will no doubt be a source of glee for many a viewer; Owen Wilson‘s time-independent detective quickly established himself as Loki’s greatest ally and third-greatest headache last season, and according to Wilson himself, his presence will only get more prominent this season.

In an interview with ComicBook, the actor opened up about treasuring his time on the Loki set, and how his character’s story is set to have more of the spotlight this time around.

“I thought I would have a good time but I really enjoyed it. I’ve been lucky working on a million movies and always having a good time but on that one, I had a really great time and that continued on Season Two. Maybe even more so because we were filming in London and being there at Pinewood but yeah, [his story] just goes deeper.”

When we last saw Mobius, his and most everyone’s memory of Loki had been erased, so there’s a chance that simply recruiting him for this excursion will end up being a mini-plotline in its own right. That, or Loki will say the word “jet ski,” causing Mobius’ memories to suddenly come flying back to him; when it comes to writing comic book adaptations, it can go either way.

Loki is available to stream on Disney Plus. The second season will premiere its first episode on Oct. 6.
