The global Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 variant has just surfaced on Geekbench. In other words, it got certified prior to launch. The model number of the device is SM-F946B, for those of you who are keeping track.

Global Galaxy Z Fold 5 variant has popped up on Geekbench

Back in March, the US model got benchmarked, in case you forgot. In comparison, the single-core performance scores lower here than what the US variant was able to achieve. That probably doesn’t mean anything, though.

All variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, worldwide, are expected to have the same SoC on the inside. These devices probably don’t have the final software builds, so differences like these are not surprising.

In any case, this model managed to score 1,845 points in the single-core test, and 5,083 points in the multi-core test. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will fuel this tablet, as expected.

This particular version will include 12GB of RAM, though more variants could end up being announced. We’ll have to wait and see what will Samsung have to say later this month.

Android 13 will come pre-installed, as expected

Android 13 is also confirmed by this listing, though that is to be expected. Android 14 is right around the corner, but it’s not out yet. This build of Android 13 will have Samsung’s One UI software on top, of course.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 will become official next month, alongside its Flip 5 sibling. Those two devices will launch alongside the Galaxy Tab S9, S9+, and S9 Ultra. The Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are also expected to make an appearance.
