HyperX has announced two new gaming audio products today at Computex, with the reveal of the Cloud III gaming headset and the Cirro Buds Pro true wireless gaming earbuds. Both come in at under $100, so they could be an excellent option if you’re hunting for a gaming headset or gaming earbuds on a budget.
Starting with the Cirro Buds Pro true wireless earbuds, HyperX is appealing to the gamer on the go. This is the company’s second pair of true wireless earbuds as it already offers the Cloud MIX Buds. These however are significantly less expensive at $79.99.
For that price you get a pair of earbuds that offers up to 7 hours of battery life on a single charge. The earbuds can also charge back to full in about 40 minutes, and with the charging case you get about 35 hours of total charge time HyperX says. The Cirro Buds Pro don’t however come with a low-latency 2.4GHz dongle and only connect through Bluetooth. HyperX says these will go on sale in June and they come in three colors – black, blue, and tan.
HyperX offers lifetime DTS Headphone: X activation with Cloud III
Spatial audio in games is a magical thing and if you’ve never experienced it, you should. That’s what you’ll get with features like DTS Headphone: X. Which as it turns out, comes with the Cloud III as a lifetime activation.
This is a wired headset so you don’t have to worry about charging it up or being out of range from your PC. HyperX says it also engineered the Cloud III for even more comfort than the Cloud II. There’s now more padding in the headband and plush memory foam earpads to keep you comfortable during longer sessions. Plus, the headset now comes with a 10mm mic with noise cancellation.
The Cloud III retails for $99.99 and is available at Best Buy, as well as directly through HyperX. It’s compatible with PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, mobile, and PC.
