The Vivo X Fold 2 presentation slides have surfaced, and they’re detailing the phone’s specifications. These presentation slides are likely designated for salespeople, but someone decided to share them with the world.
Presentation slides reveal some of the Vivo X Fold 2 specifications
Now, we already knew that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will fuel the phone, and that 120W charging will be included. Various other details surfaced, and these slides basically confirm the majority of them.
The phone will feature an 8.03-inch internal, foldable display with a resolution of 2160 x 1916 pixels. It will be an E6 AMOLED display from Samsung, by the way, and it will support a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also offer a max brightness of 1,800 nits.
The cover display will also be the Samsung E6 AMOLED panel, but it won’t be foldable. It will measure 6.53 inches, and will have a tall aspect ratio, and a fullHD+ resolution. This display will also offer a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be able to reach a peak brightness of 1,600 nits.
Do note that both displays will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. It would be easier for Vivo to place one on the side, but the company decided to go a different route here
LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage will be used
Now, Vivo will utilize LPDDR5X RAM inside of this smartphone. It will also use UFS 4.0 flash storage. We don’t know the exact numbers when it comes to RAM and storage, though, not yet.
Wi-Fi 7 will be supported, and the Vivo V2 ISP will be in use here. These materials also mention a 4,800mAh battery, along with 120W wired, and 50W wireless charging.
This thing will also be lighter than its predecessors, the Vivo X Fold and Vivo X Fold+. That is a good thing, as both of those devices were quite hefty, even by foldables standards.
The Vivo X Fold arrived in April last year, so the launch of the Vivo X Fold 2 is likely right around the corner. The phone’s design also surfaced quite recently.
