The Motorola Edge 40 5G design, price & partial specs surfaced online
That being said, the phone’s design got shared in two color variants, Eclipse Black and Nebula Green. Those won’t be the only color options available, though. The Lunar Blue and Viva Magenta colors will also be on offer.
If you take a look at the images shared in the gallery below the article, you’ll be able to see the device. It will include a curved display, with thin bezels, and a centered display camera hole. Its bezels won’t be uniform, though.
Two cameras will sit on the back of the phone, while all of its physical buttons will be located on the right side. What’s interesting here is that both of these color variants seem to have vegan leather on the back, not glass. The other two color options will probably utilize glass, but we’ll have to wait and see.
It will include a 50-megapixel main camera, and support 67W charging
A 50-megapixel main camera will be in use on the back. A 6.55-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display will also be in use, and it will offer a 144Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC will fuel this device.
The Motorola Edge 40 5G will include a 4,400mAh battery, and will support 68W wired charging. 15W wireless charging will also be on offer, though. A 13-megapixel ultrawide camera is also tipped, and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
Android 13 will come pre-installed on the phone, while an in-display fingerprint scanner will also be a part of the package. We presume that will be an optical scanner, not an ultrasonic one.
The Motorola Edge 40 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will cost €599 ($650), the source claims. Other RAM + storage combos will likely be available too, though.
