Earlier this month Infinity Ward laid out a roadmap for Modern Warfare II that included all the stuff coming in the game’s second season, and that included a second Oni DLC for PlayStation players.
The Combat Pack 2 would contain a second skin for Oni (the exclusive PS4/PS5 operator) as well as two weapon blueprints, a charm, and more. Though season 2 launched last week, the second Oni DLC wouldn’t be available to Modern Warfare II players on PlayStation until February 22. Today is the day and players can now download the content for use within the game. Players also now have a full picture of what the combat pack includes.
Here’s everything you get with the second Oni DLC in Modern Warfare II
In the initial announcement for the Combat Pack 2, which we’re referring to as the second Oni DLC, Sony did list off everything that was included. It even named the weapon blueprints and told you which weapon type they were for. It did not however show you what the blueprints looked like or what actual gun they can be applied to. Or what the other items looked like for that matter.
Now that the pack is live though, players can see everything in detail. The content pack includes the Oni Pyroclast operator skin, for starters. It also includes the Oni Carver blueprint for the Fennec 45 smg, and the Oni Slasher blueprint for the M4 assault rifle. The Crimson Oni animated calling card, the Golden Dragonfly sticker, the Grinning Oni emblem, and the Yoroi weapon charm round out the items.
The combat pack 2 is a free DLC that you can install if you play the game on either PS4 or PS5. Keep in mind that this won’t be usable on PC. Just like the exclusive Oni operator, and the first combat pack. Even if you own the game and content on both platforms. You can also view a new trailer highlighting the DLC below.
