Samsung‘s Galaxy S23 series has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from industry experts and early buyers. This strong word of mouth has helped drive sales. The company has received record-breaking pre-orders for the phones in several markets, including India and South Korea. The Korean firm has now revealed that pre-orders for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in France almost doubled to that of the Galaxy S22 trio.
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S23 lineup on February 1. It started taking pre-orders for the phones on the same day, except in a few countries. The pre-order period ran until February 16, with general sales beginning the following day. During this period, the company received twice as many pre-orders for the new flagships as it did for the Galaxy S22 series last year. It didn’t reveal the precise number but said that flagship pre-orders have “reached a new level” in the country. Galaxy S22 pre-orders itself were more than two times higher than Galaxy S21, so it’s going well for Samsung’s business in France.
Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is the best-selling model in the lineup this year as well. It may be the most expensive, but it is in a league of its own in the crowded smartphone market. Samsung says about 60 percent of people buying the new Galaxy flagships globally have chosen the Ultra model. The company has also revealed that 35 percent of Galaxy S23 Ultra buyers in France ordered the phone from Samsung.com instead of partner retailers. That share for the Galaxy S23+ is 26 percent. Samsung offers the new phones in a handful of exclusive colors through its online store, including Graphite, Lime, Red, and Sky Blue.
Galaxy S23 pre-orders have ended, but you can still avail of some offers
As mentioned above, Galaxy S23 pre-orders ended on February 16. Those who placed the order during this period got some attractive offers, including a free storage upgrade. In some countries, the company offered Galaxy Buds or Galaxy Watches bundled for free. While you may not get those benefits by buying the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, or Galaxy S23 Ultra today, Samsung still has some offers active in Frace.
According to the company, Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ buyers will get a flat €100 discount on connected Samsung products or optional accessories. If you grab the Ultra model, you’ll get a flat €150 discount. This offer is valid until March 31, so hurry up.
