TCL is one of the biggest TV makers in the world, and at CES 2023, it’s introducing its largest mini-LED TV yet. That’s a 98-inch mini-LED TV in its top-of-the-line QM8 model.
At CES, TCL is announcing that it now has two different families of TVs. There’s the Q-Series and the S-series. With the Q-Series being the more high-end TV models from the company.
TCL’s Q-series of QLED TVs are going to provide even more color with Quantum Dot technology and ultra-wide color gamut. Which also brings in varying levels of new HighBright displays, which will increase color volume and brightness for even better picture quality. The Q-Series also feature Full Array PRO Local Dimming, IMAX Enhanced Certification for the first time, TCL’s own AIPQ Engine, and increased panel refresh rates for fast action. With up to 2,300+ dimming zones, and a built-in subwoofer, this is going to be an incredible TV to pick up.
TCL hasn’t forgotten about the gamers either. It is also building on its existing game features like Auto Game Mode with a full suite of key game technologies. TCL’s Q6 introduces the new Game Accelerator 120 for up to 120Hz Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), while the Q7 and Q8 will get Game Accelerator 240, for up to 240Hz VRR.
Finally, rounding out its TV news, TCL plans to announce a QD-OLED TV in the near future.

TCL announces new Q-Series and S-Series soundbars, too
In addition to the new Q and S series on TVs, they are following along with its soundbars. There are three new S-Series soundbars and two new Q-Series soundbars. The S-Series, which are 2.1, 3.1 and 5.1 channel soundbars, have a sleek design and provide solutions for a “home theater made simple”. It has advanced features like DTS Virtual:X, for an enhanced sound field, Dolby Audio, wireless subwoofer and the ability to add rear speakers and will be Roku TV Ready, making setup super simple.
Then the two Q-Series soundbars are here as premium models with the tagline “Home Theater, Made Better”. These are 3.1 and 5.1 channel soundbars, which offer wireless subwoofers, separate tweets, over 420 watts, DTS Virtual:X, Dolby Audio, auto room calibration and the ability to add rear speakers, both models also boast a pretty cool look. That will fit into any living room.
TCL has not announcing pricing or availability for these TVs and soundbars yet. We’d expect those to be announced later this year, closer to when they’ll actually be hitting store shelves.
