The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is the latest OnePlus smartphone to join the Android 13 ranks. This budget smartphone is now receiving the update, along with OxygenOS 13, of course.
Android 13 is now rolling out to the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite
The update weighs 4.5GB and it’s marked as “CPH2381_11_C.25”. It is rolling out OTA (Over The Air), and this is a stable build we’re talking about. It includes the latest Android security patch for December 2022.
Quite a few OnePlus devices have already received a stable build of Android 13. The list includes OnePlus 8, 8 Pro, 8T, OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, 9R, 9RT, OnePlus 10 Pro, 10R, and 10T.
If you’ve used Android 13 with OxygenOS 13 on any of those devices, you know exactly what to expect. You’re getting all the major updates from Google with Android 13, and a bunch of additions from OnePlus.
When it comes to OnePlus’ changes in OxygenOS 13, the list is quite long, but we’ll mention some changes. It brings the so-called ‘Aquamorphic Design’ theme colors, while it also adds a shadow-reflective clock.
The Quantum Animation Engine has been pushed to version 4.0
The Quantum Animation Engine has been updated to version 4.0. UI has been optimized for a “clearer and neater” experience. The fonts have been better optimized for readability, and so have the system icons.
Large folders have been added to the home screen, while you now have more markup tools for screenshot editing. The Sidebar Toolbox has been added, and the OnePlus Shelf has been optimized.
Private Safe has been optimized, while the Dynamic Computing Engine has been thrown into the mix to “improve the system speed, stability, battery life, and app experience”. When it comes to gaming, OxygenOS 13 brings upgrades to HyperBoost GPA 4.0.
We’re only scratching the surface, there’s a lot more to check out in the changelog, which you can check out here.
