Spirited Will Make the Perfect Festive Treat this Holiday Season

Spirited is sure to make the perfect Christmas gift for audiences everywhere this holiday season, as it takes the classic Dickens tale about the short-tempered and effortlessly selfish Ebenezer Scrooge, and his experience meeting the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. Of course, the timeless tale ends with Scrooge learning the error of his ways and being transformed into a much kinder and gentler person, with Spirited aiming to tell the story to a modern audience amid what’s sure to be plenty of laughs courtesy of the comedic duo of Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell.

“Not sure I’d have been ready to say yes to a film this challenging even three years ago,” Reynolds said of the project. “Singing, dancing and playing in the sandbox with Will Ferrell made a whole lotta dreams come true. And this is my second film with the great Octavia Spencer… Perfect time for a little sabbatical from movie making. I’m gonna miss every second working with this obscenely gifted group of creators and artists. These days, kindness matters as much as talent. I’ve been lucky to work with folks who are flush with both.”

Spirited is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 11, 2022, and will later be available on Apple TV+ from November 18, 2022.
