Amazon’s Prime Video becomes the exclusive home for Thursday Night Football on September 15 (tomorrow), and to celebrate that, Amazon is launching a slew of new features. These new features are aimed at making the TNF action easier with Fire TV and Alexa.

First up, is X-Ray. This is a pretty useful feature on Fire TV already for finding actors in different movies and TV shows. Now, users will be able to use their voice to access X-Ray. This is exclusive to Prime Video. Just say, “Alexa, open X-Ray” and you’ll be able to see real-time stats while you are watching the game.

You’ll also be able to ask Alexa questions about the game you’re watching, during the game. This is all done without interrupting the stream on your Fire TV device. Just ask “Alexa, how many rushing yards do the Chiefs have today?” or “Alexa, who has the most tackles today?” among many other things. Making the experience really unique.

Alexa gets a ton of TNF features

Other features that Amazon is rolling out for TNF includes the ability to go straight to the game. Just ask “Alexa, play Thursday Night Football” and it’ll take you straight to the game, from your Fire TV’s home screen.

You’ll also be able to add the game to your watchlist, and watch it whenever you want. Since Amazon’s Prime Video does offer unlimited playback. You can also follow your favorite teams with Alexa. Finally, there’s “Alexa, trick my fan cave”, which will help you get inspiration for upgrading your fan cave.

These are all available today and will make watching Thursday Night Football even better, on Prime Video. This week, we’ll see the Los Angeles Chargers vs the Kansas City Chiefs. You can check out the full Thursday Night Football schedule for this season by clicking here.
