Amazon has now discounted the Samsung Galaxy S22, knocking $100 off of its regular price. That brings it down to $699, which is just shy of an all-time low price. This is also the advertised price for Prime Day next month, so might as well buy now while it’s still in stock.
The Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra are also on sale too. The Galaxy S22+ is down to $799 from $999. While the Galaxy S22 Ultra is down to $1,069 from $1,199. Not huge discounts, but still a pretty rare discount in the Galaxy S22 life cycle, likely due to the chip shortage that we are still experiencing. Even with the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4 on the horizon, we don’t expect these to drop much more in price in the coming months.
The Galaxy S22 is likely going to be the smallest smartphone with flagship specs to come out in 2022. It sports a 6.1-inch FHD+ 120Hz adaptive AMOLED display. That is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. There is also a 3700mAh capacity battery inside.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22+ sports the same internals, but uses a larger 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz Adaptive AMOLED display, and a larger 4500mAh capacity battery. Though both battery capacities are smaller than their predecessors.
On the camera front, both sport the same cameras. So the front has a 10-megapixel selfie shooter. While the rear has a triple camera setup. This consists of a 50-megapixel main sensor, 10-megapixel telephoto and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide. The ultra-wide is capable of macro photos, though like the iPhone, there is no dedicated macro mode. While the Telephoto is capable of doing 3x optical zoom. And up to 30x digital zoom.
These are both impressive phones and it’s unclear how long this deal is going to last. So you’ll want to be quick. You can pick up your Galaxy S22 or Galaxy S22+ from Amazon by clicking here.
