Netflix has been cranking out its collection of mobile games so far in 2022 and is now promising a whole lot more to come. In a tweet from the official Netflix Geeked account, the streaming company has teased a handful of new games coming to the app.

You’ll be able to see quick snippets of a number of new games that are on the way. Including a few different games that are based on popular shows. Like The Queen’s Gambit Chess, Too Hot To Handle, and Shadow And Bones: Destinies. Not all the new games will be based on a Netflix series, of course.

And some of the games won’t even be new. Oxenfree for instance is already available on Google Play and the iOS App Store. Netflix is also looking to bring in a mobile adaption of Raji: An Ancient Epic. A seriously cool looking game that was shown off at GDC back in 2019 (you can view the trailer for it below).

Netflix promises more than 50 games will be available by the end of 2022

Right now Netflix offers 23 different mobile games in the app. And that’s including a brand-new game it just launched called Poinpy. But Netflix is also promising that it will have more than 50 games available by the end of 2022. In its teaser trailer posted to Twitter, it also shows off at least 16 games.

Which means there’s at least 11 more that we haven’t seen because Netflix isn’t ready to show them off. One new game on the way will be Desta. The upcoming title from UsTwo, the studio behind the massively popular Monument Valley series.

Another game, called Immortality, appears to be more of an interactive show kind of like Black Mirror: Bandersnatch. Or at the very least the game is simply comprised of live-action sequences.

To play Netflix games you do need a subscription. But all the games are available for free through Netflix. Which could save you a little money on the games themselves. You can view the teaser trailer below if you want to catch a glimpse at everything that’s on the way. Or check out more details in the official blog post.
