How To Link Your Accounts To Apex Legends Mobile

Apex Legends Mobile is now out, and people want to know everything about the game. It’s the mobile counterpart to the popular 2019 battle royale game, and it’s an interesting app. You play as your favorite characters from the console and PC versions of the game as you battle your way through different multiplayer matches. If you want to preserve your progress through different devices, you’ll want to know how to link your accounts to the Apex Legends mobile game.

Linking your accounts to the game is an important thing to do if you’re switching devices. When you play the game, all of your progress is saved on a cloud so that you can access it from anywhere.

How to link your accounts to Apex Legends Mobile

When you open the app for the first time, you’ll be greeted with a login screen. Right off the bat, you’ll see two of the options to log in. These are via Facebook and via Google. That makes sense as these are the two most popular accounts that people link to games like this.

Using Facebook

If you want to log in using your Facebook account, it’s not too hard. Go ahead and tap the Facebook button, and you’ll see a popup appear. If you’re already signed in to your Facebook account on your phone, then you should just be able to tap on the account and get into the game.

If not, then you’re going to need to log into the account from this screen. You’ll see a Log in button in the middle of the screen. Put in your email address or your phone number up top and your password under that. Once you do that, you’ll be taken right into the game.

If you don’t have a Facebook account, don’t worry; you can make one right then and there. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see a Create New Facebook Account button. Tap on it and you’ll be taken to a page to create your account. Add in the information that the app asks of you. Once you do that, you’ll be taken into the game.

Using Google

If you’re using an Android phone, then you should most likely be logged into your main Google account. Tap on the Google button and you’ll see the typical account picker box pop up. You’ll see all of the Google accounts that are on your device in the popup. Just tap on the account you want to use and you’ll be taken into the game.

If you want to use an account that’s not on the device, then the process will be a bit tedious. Tap on the Add another account button under the logged-in accounts. From there, you’ll be taken out of Apex Legends Mobile and to Google’s native account page. There, you’ll put in your email address and account password.

After you log into the account, you will need to go back to the game. If you don’t see the account you want, then you restart the game. After that point, you should see the newly added account.

Using Twitter

Even though the option to log in using Twitter isn’t visible, you can still do so. Right above the Facebook and Google buttons, you’ll see a small More button. Tapping on that button will reveal more options to log in; one of them is Twitter.

Tap on the Twitter button and it won’t show a popup; it’ll show an entire page. On the top left of the page, you’ll see where you can put in your Twitter credentials. Once you put in your information, you’ll be able to go into the game.

If you don’t have a Twitter account, then you can simply make one. Look at the top right of the page. It’s hard to see, but there’s a button that will let you create a new Twitter account. Once you make your Twitter account, you’ll be able to go into the game.

Using your EA account

If you’re an avid EA Games customer, you might want to use your dedicated EA account. Tap on the More button again and tap on the EA option that pops up. From there, you’ll be able to put in your credentials.

If you don’t have an account, then you can tap on the Create an EA account at the bottom. From there, you’ll be taken to a browser window where you can put in your information and get going. When you return to the app, you’ll then put in the information for your newly created account and proceed to the game.

Don’t want to bother with logging in/signing up?

If you just want to get into the game and start playing, you can do so without logging into any accounts. When you start the game, tap on the More button and tap on the controller icon. This will let you play as a guest.

Just know that your data will only exist on the device. This means that you won’t be able to pick up where you left off if you switch to another device.

How to link an account at a later date

If you change your mind and want to add an account at a later date, then it’s easy to do so. Once you tap on the guest option, you’re instantly taken into the game. However, on the home screen, tap the Settings button on the bottom left of the screen. On the top right of the settings screen, you’ll see a “+” icon on the screen. Tapping that will bring up a popup with the different account options.
