The OnePlus 10 Pro will be more affordable than its predecessor, the OnePlus 9 Pro, it seems. The phone’s price tag surfaced right before the launch event. As most of you know, the global OnePlus 10 Pro variant will launch later today.
OnePlus accidentally revealed the OnePlus 10 Pro price, it will be more affordable than its predecessor
The phone originally launched in China a couple of months ago. Today a launch event will take place for the US, Europe, India, and other markets. Having said that, OnePlus accidentally revealed the price tag of its upcoming flagship.
The OnePlus 10 Pro got listed on the company’s official website, via the Student Discount Channel. That listing not only revealed that the phone will be offered for $854.05 (5% off) for students, but it also revealed the phone’s actual price tag.
The OnePlus 10 Pro will cost $899. We presume that is the price tag for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the phone. We’re not sure what variants will be on offer just yet, we’ll have to wait for the launch event.
The OnePlus 10 Pro will be $70 more affordable than 9 Pro
So, considering that the OnePlus 9 Pro launched at $969, this is a $70 decrease in price. The OnePlus 9 Pro now costs $799, for those of you who are interested. Most people, who are planning to get a OnePlus flagship, will probably splash out an extra $100 at this point in time, to get the brand new model.
The OnePlus 10 Pro event will kick off at 7 AM PST / 10 AM EST / 4 PM CET today. OnePlus may announce some accessories alongside this smartphone, and perhaps even some additional wearables.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is hardly a secret at this point in time. The phone already launched in China, and the global variant won’t differ all that much. It will ship with different software, that’s true, but the design and specs will be almost identical.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will fuel the device, while you can expect a 6.7-inch QHD+ display to be included. That will be an LTPO2 display, with an adaptive refresh rate.
A 5,000mAh battery is also expected, along with fast wired charging (65W in the US, 80W elsewhere), and 50W wireless charging. Reverse wireless charging will also be included. Android 12 will come pre-installed, while OxygenOS 12 will ship on top of Google’s OS.
