He says that Samsung will be looking to keep the costs to a minimum, when it comes to its foldable smartphones. Samsung has a huge advantage in the foldable smartphones market, so there’s really no need to jump on its head at this point.

Major redesigns and changes require funds, and can boost price tags. That’s another reason why Samsung will want to keep things similar to last year. So, don’t expect the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 to represent major changes.

New internals will be included, though, of course, as is the case every year. Both devices are expected to utilize the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, possibly even TSMC’s variant aka the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+.
We’re really not sure what chip will Samsung opt for at this point, we’ll have to wait and see. A new and improved UTG glass will likely be a part of the package as well, along with some other improvements.
Samsung is, once again, expected to release two foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4. A recent rumor suggested that a third foldable may be coming, which then turned into a rumor about a rollable smartphone, and in the end, it turns out neither one was accurate.
Samsung will, most likely, release only two foldable smartphones. The company is rumored to launch its first rollable smartphone next year, not this year.
Both the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 launched in August last year, so chances are their successors will arrive around the same time this year. You can expect plenty of leaks to surface before that happens, though.
