Some of you have probably been using Facebook for a long time at this point. In that time, many of you have shared a lot of posts, some of which are quite old at this point. Some older posts may be irrelevant at this point, or cringey. Perhaps you’ve shared some posts with your ex-girlfriend/boyfriend, or something of the sort. Well, if that’s the case, and you’d simply like to wipe the slate clean, there’s a way to do that. In this article, we’ll show you how to delete all your Facebook posts at once.
This is not that difficult to do, though the option is buried in the settings, as most such options are. There are a lot of menus both in the Facebook app and the desktop client. That’s why we’ll walk you through the procedure, and that goes for both the app and the web client. We’ll separate these two tutorials below, and you’ll also find some screenshots to help you find your way.
How to delete all Facebook posts at once via the app
The very first thing you’ll need to do is fire up the Facebook app, and make sure you’re logged in. Once you do that, tap your profile image on the left side of the screen.
Once your profile opens, you’ll see three horizontal dots on the right side of the screen, that’s the menu we need.
A bunch of different options will appear on the next page. We’re interested in the ‘Activity log’.
In this menu, you’ll see both ‘Manage Your Posts’ and ‘Manage Your Tags’ options. Depending on what you want to delete, enter the appropriate menu. We’ll go with the ‘Posts’, as that’s what we’re here to delete. Wait for a couple of seconds until everything is shown, it can take a bit of time.
Once the menu opens, you’ll see the ‘All’ checkbox in the upper portion of the display, on the left side. Tick it.
All of your posts will be selected, and you’ll be able to tap the ‘Trash’ button below.

Once your profile opens, you’ll see three horizontal dots on the left side. Click those.
A pop-up menu will appear, and you’ll be able to select the ‘Activity log’ option.
In the next menu, which contains a log of submenus, choose ‘Your Posts’ option.
Your posts will open on the right side, and you’ll see the ‘All’ checkbox above them. Tick it.
Once you select all posts, you’ll be able to click the ‘Trash’ button which is located on the right side of the screen.
