HONOR wants to double its sales in 2022, the company’s CEO said. The company’s CEO, George Zhao, said that in a series of interviews, and the company reached out with the news.

HONOR plans to double its sales in 2022

Do note that he’s talking about global sales here, of course. George Zhao expects HONOR to double the sales compared to 2021. That is not surprising, as the company is coming in strong, and with Google services on board.

HONOR announced the Magic V foldable in China last year, and its Magic4 series flagships launched globally at MWC 2022. The company also announced a smartwatch during the tradeshow, and a pair of truly wireless earbuds.

There is still no confirmation on when will the Magic V arrive to global markets, but it is expected to do so in the near future. That would give HONOR an edge, as not many companies sell their foldable smartphones globally.

Now, according to the latest report by Counterpoint Research, HONOR was actually the second-largest smartphone manufacturer in China in Q4 2021. That truly does represent growth. HONOR expects its worth to reflect in the global market as well.

The company is in partnership with over 200 major carriers

HONOR is now partnered with over 200 major carriers and channel partners. 98 of them are in Europe, and include Vodafone, Orange, Telefonica, H3G, Bouygues, and SFR, amongst others.

The products HONOR announced during MWC 2022 will become available to purchase really soon. Their success will definitely have an effect on the company’s sales in 2022.

Do note that HONOR sells all sorts of devices, it is not limited to only smartphones, smartwatches, and earbuds. The company also sells laptops, fitness trackers, routers, and various accessories.

The HONOR Magic V is the device that managed to attract a lot of attention to itself when it launched. Some users are still waiting for more news on that phone’s global launch. The vast majority of foldables from Chinese companies are still limited to China, so getting this device to global markets is hopefully one of the company’s priorities.
