MAGA turns on Musk: ‘If you knew he was on the Epstein client list, why did you let him board Marine One with your son?’

Jaws all around the world hit the floor last night when Elon Musk spectacularly turned on Donald Trump, taking to X to effectively accuse him of being a pedophile. In what Musk described as “the really big bomb”, he said the reason the Epstein files still haven’t been released is because Trump is in them, hinting that whatever they contain is so serious it’s “the real reason they have not been made public”.

Musk capped off his tweet with a cheery “Have a nice day, DJT!” and hit “post”, doubtless chortling to himself as some flunky racked up another fat line of horse tranquilizer for him. The full consequences of Musk calling Trump a pedo are yet to play out, though the insult pretty much instantly backfired on Musk.

Let them fight

As many rightly pointed out, if Elon Musk knew Donald Trump was a major player in the Epstein files, why did he then spend $290 million to make him president? Even more egregiously, why did he bring his kid over to hang out with a man he is apparently certain commits sex crimes against children?

This is wild: As the brawl between Elon Musk and Trump spirals out of control, with Musk accusing him of being on Epstein’s list, Newsmax asks if that’s true, “why did you let him board Marine One with your son?”

Even ultra-MAGA extremists Newsmax – the Fox News for people who think Fox News is too liberal – spotted this hypocrisy. After their newscaster insisted, “I still really like Elon” and that they hoped they could “patch things up”, he described Musk’s Epstein jab as a “low blow”. But he capped it off by saying: “Also, Elon, if you knew he was on the Epstein client list, why did you let him board Marine One with your son? Just asking!”

Sadly, there’s a fairly straightforward answer to this. It’s widely suspected that the reason Musk carries his son X Æ A on his shoulders and keeps him by his side at all times is that he deters any would-be assassins. The theory goes that Musk has calculated that an innocent child wrapped around his skull is more effective armor than Kevlar, so the reason that Musk is happy to let his kid pal around with Trump may be that he considers him expendable.

Expect more juicy drama to spill out of this MAGA break-up. Here’s hoping for mutually assured destruction.
