It seems like the most specced-out variant of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra may not land in the US, the one with 1TB of storage. That info is based on the latest report that surfaced.

The 1TB storage variant of the Galaxy S22 Ultra may not launch in the US

The 1TB storage variant was mentioned several times thus far. The latest mentions come from Roland Quandt, a well-known tipster, who confirmed that the model is coming. Another source comes from a document shared by lanzuk. That document comes from a South Korean telecommunication company.

Now, that variant seemingly won’t make its way to the US. The model is said to be available in South Korea, China, and in key European markets. The US was not mentioned thus far. That, of course, does not guarantee that the model won’t launch there.

Based on the information we’ve seen thus far, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will arrive in several variants. The 8GB RAM model will include 128GB of storage. The 12GB RAM variant will arrive in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.

Samsung’s latest flagships will become official on February 9

The device will become official on February 9, along with its siblings, and some tablets. The Galaxy S22 and S22+ will also launch, alongside the Galaxy Tab S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra tablets.

All of those will be the company’s flagship offerings, so we’re looking at six products at the very least. Samsung may surprise us and present some additional gadgets, we’ll see.

The 1TB storage variant of the Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to cost around $1,500. Needless to say, that’s a lot of cash. Its price will, of course, vary from one market to the next.

It remains to be seen if the 1TB model will become available in the US. That market hasn’t been mentioned for it yet, but that may change at any point now.

While we wait for the launch event to take place, feel free to check out our Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra previews.
