Just a couple of days ahead of its official unveiling, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has leaked in a real-life image. Shared on the Korean platform Naver, the image confirms the presence of a wide notch and thin bezels on this device. We have been hearing this all along and have also seen it in renders in the past.

This photo appears to be taken inside a retail store, which is surprising since the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is not yet official. Perhaps someone has jumped the gun and put the upcoming tablet in the exhibition for everyone to see before Samsung takes wraps off it.

That said, there have been plenty of leaks in the past as well. We already know pretty much everything about the upcoming flagship Android tablet from Samsung. The notched display that we see here measures 14.6-inch diagonally. It is a 120Hz panel with a 2960×1848 pixels resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra supports S Pen with recent reports claiming a significantly reduced latency of just 2.8 milliseconds. If that’s true, the S Pen experience should feel more natural.

The wide notch at the center houses two front-facing cameras, both of 12-megapixel resolution. We have two cameras at the back as well. There’s a 13-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and a 6-megapixel ultrawide lens.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It also supports micro SD cards of up to 1TB capacity. Dolby Atmos quad stereo speakers, 11,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and Android 12 with One UI 4.1 are some of the device’s other key specs. Of course, all this will not come cheap. Reports suggest the new Galaxy tablet could cost well over €1,100 in Europe.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will go official in a couple of days

Samsung’s first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2022 is just around the corner. The Korean company will launch its next-gen flagship mobile products at the much-anticipated event on February 9. Along with the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, we are also looking forward to the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8+. These two are slightly lesser-specced than the Ultra model. They feature a smaller screen, smaller battery, a single camera on the front, and also miss out on slim bezels. You can find more details about the devices here. Additionally, Samsung will also unveil the Galaxy S22 series at its online event in a couple of days. So stay tuned.
