Amazon has the Roku Streaming Stick+ on sale right now, coming in at just $39.99. This is really the first time we have seen the new 2021 model go on sale. And it’s good for $20 off. That works out to be about half off of its regular price.
The Roku Streaming Stick is a really great streaming stick for those that are thinking about cutting the cord. Particularly since it does support up to 4K HDR and Dolby Vision for great image quality.
Roku has support for almost every app out there. This includes ESPN+, Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, Google Play Movies & TV, YouTube, YouTube TV, HBO GO (not HBO MAX, yet. But that is expected very soon) and much more. So whatever you want to stream, Roku has it.
There is also the free Roku channel, that you can use to watch all sorts of content. This is all free content and it is ad-supported.
On top of that, Roku now supports both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. So you can use your voice to control your Roku as well. Which can be very useful.
But by far the most clutch feature of Roku these days is, Google Cast. Meaning that you can easily cast content from your smartphone to your TV over your Roku device. This was previously saved for just Google products like Android TV and of course Chromecast. So good to see it on the Roku Streaming Stick+ too.
The Roku Streaming Stick is a pretty small streaming stick that plugs into the back of your TV. And what makes it so great is the fact that it supports 4K and HDR content. Giving you a really good picture. That is, of course, as long as your TV also supports both 4K and HDR.
