The OnePlus 13 has started getting a new update that focuses on camera improvements. This update is now rolling out to various markets, including North America, Europe, and India, amongst others. So, basically all major global markets are getting it.
Do note that the update is rolling out in batches, though. So you may have to wait a while before it reaches your smartphone. The update is marked as CPH2655_15.0.0.602(EX01), and it weighs 1.26GB, so make sure you update via WiFi, if you’re limited in terms of mobile data.
Two camera-specific improvements are mentioned in this OnePlus 13 update
With that being said, you’d expect to see plenty of changelog inclusions considering the update size, but that’s not the case here. Only three items are listed in the changelog, two of which are in the ‘Camera’ section.
This update improves the focus capability of the OnePlus 13’s rear cameras. You should have fewer problems with blurry shots after this update. On top of that, OnePlus also improved the tone and color of your photos that are taken with the rear camera.
Some other, smaller changes have been issued
We’re not sure how much of a change that will represent in actual use, but those are two very important changes, that’s for sure. On top of those camera changes, OnePlus also listed improvements to system stability and performance as well. Some changes under the hood probably occurred, like bug squashing.
It’s always nice to see companies try to make their products run to the best of their ability. The camera performance can always be better than it is, so these updates are always welcomed. We’re looking forward to checking if we can see the difference in terms of performance.
Speaking of which, our OnePlus 13 review has been on the site for quite some time, and it does share plenty of information regarding OnePlus’ latest flagship smartphone. So if you’re interested in getting one, or would just like to know more, there you go.
