The upcoming OPPO Find N5 will be thinner than the Apple iPad Pro (M4), it seems. This was confirmed by Billy Zhang, OPPO’s President of Overseas Marketing, Sales, and Services.
The OPPO Find N5 will be thinner than the iPad Pro (M4), which is unsurprising
This info may surprise some of you, but considering that OPPO already confirmed that this phone will become the thinnest foldable smartphone in the world, it’s not all that surprising.
The iPad Pro (M4) measures 5.1mm, while the HONOR Magic V3 measures 4.35mm when unfolded. That phone is the thinnest book-style foldable in the world. The OPPO Find N5 will trump that, it would seem, so it will easily be thinner than the iPad Pro (M4).
That is something Billy Zhang made painfully clear with a new image. He shared it via X, and you can see it below. It shows the OPPO Find N5 right next to the Apple iPad Pro (M4).
Its backplate will curve into the frame
It’s obvious that OPPO’s phone will be thinner, and offer a different design too. Its backplate will curve into the frame, as you can clearly see in the image that Billy Zhang shared. The sides will be flat.
We already have plenty of information about the OPPO Find N5. The company started teasing the device a while back, and it already shared a number of images. Its full design has not been revealed yet, though, but some live images did surface.
The OPPO Find N5 will support 50W wireless charging, while it will get a wired charging boost too. It will also weigh less than its predecessor, the OPPO Find N3. That was to be expected considering it will be notably thinner.
This smartphone will become official next month, in February. We still don’t know the exact date, but the launch is coming. The OnePlus Open 2 could borrow this design too. The OnePlus Open used the exact same design the OPPO Find N3 delivered, so… the same could happen this time around too.
