Today is a big day for Rainbow Six fans, as Rainbow Six Extraction just launched and it’s playable via GeForce NOW. Which means you can play it in the cloud without having to own a powerful gaming PC. And if you have the RTX 3080 tier of the service, you get even better visuals and longer play sessions. What’s not to like about that?
Plus, this means you can play it on the go. Should your device of choice happen to be a mobile device from time to time.
Rainbow Six Extraction is not the only new game being added this week to GeForce NOW of course. As is customary with most GeForce NOW Thursdays, there are a few new games to enjoy.
Rainbow Six Extraction is one of four new games on GeForce NOW today
Since it’s the third week of the month there aren’t nearly as many games coming to GeForce NOW this week. There are however a few. Four in total in fact.
The remaining three games being added are Blacksmith Legends, Fly Corp, and Garfield Kart – Furious Racing. In terms of newly added stuff to the service, this week that’s about it. So this is a pretty light week for changes or updates.
In recent past weeks, NVIDIA added Fortnite and Genshin Impact. Both as closed betas. So if you don’t care for this week’s game additions, there’s plenty more to check out from the rest of this month prior to today.
If you’ve yet to check out GeForce NOW yet and are curious, you can give it a go for free. If you end up liking it, you can upgrade to the RTX 3080 tier which is $99.99 for a 6-month membership. And this is definitely the best way to experience the service. NVIDIA removed the wait list for this tier last month.
NVIDIA GeForce NOW also offers priority memberships, which cost $9.99 a month. With this tier you get 6-hour play sessions and visuals that are equal to a GTX 1080. Which are still pretty darn good if you’re working with a PC or a device that doesn’t offer that.
