ASUS ROG Phone 9 series spotted on Geekbench ML with key specs

The ASUS ROG Phone 9 series has been doing rounds in the news lately. ASUS has already announced that the ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro will launch on November 19. Now, folks over at MySmartPrice have spotted one of the models of the ASUS ROG Phone 9 series on the Geekbench ML listing with some of its specs.

The purported model of the ASUS ROG 9 Phone series has been benchmarked on Geekbench ML with Model ID “ASUSAI250E.” The said model managed to grab 1812 points on the Geekbench’s Core ML Neural Engine Interference test. The mentioned test evaluates a device’s machine learning capabilities, mainly focusing on how efficiently it would run neural network models.

The spotted Geekbench listing also suggests that the ROG Phone 9 series will pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Besides, the upcoming phones will also come with an Adreno 830 GPU and 24GB of RAM. The listing also confirms that the ROG Phone 9 series will boot Android 15 out of the box.

Previously leaked details about the upcoming gaming smartphones

If we consider the recent leaks and rumors, the gaming smartphones will sport a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 2,500 nits peak brightness. Both the model of the ASUS ROG Phone 9 series could come with Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

Previously, a Weibo tipster had claimed that the upcoming device would come with 185Hz refresh rate. We expect ASUS to land the “Pro” model with the aforementioned refresh rate. Besides, the ASUS ROG Phone 9 series might launch with a primary camera of 50MP (Sony Lytia 700 sensor).

You could also find a 13MP ultrawide camera on the upcoming devices. The ROG Phone 9 and Phone 9 Pro might also include a 5MP macro camera and a 32MP telephoto camera, respectively. Moreover, you can expect to see a 32MP selfie camera on both the gaming-centric Android smartphones.
