Doogee has been releasing teasers for its Doogee V20 smartphone for quite some time now. Well, the company has finally decided to reveal the Doogee V20 launch date, and even its price tag.
The device will become available to pre-order on February 21. It will be available from AliExpress. During the pre-order period, the phone’s price tag will be $399. We’re not sure if that’s lower than its final price tag, though.
Do note that the first 1,000 buyers will be able to get a $100 discount. So, if you’re amongst them, you’ll be able to get the phone for $299, essentially.
I case you’re wondering, the Doogee V20 is a rugged smartphone. This is a rugged smartphone that comes with a rear display, which is not something you see every day. To be quite honest, I can’t exactly think of a single rugged smartphone that has a rear display.
The device will feature a 6.43-inch main display provided by Samsung. That will be an AMOLED display, by the way, and it will be a fullHD+ panel. The rear display will measure 1.05 inches.
The phone will be fueled by an octa-core SoC, and it will include 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. You will be able to expand its storage via a microSD card up to an additional 512GB.
The Doogee V20 will offer three cameras on the back. A 64-megapixel main camera will be backed by a 20-megapixel night vision camera. The third camera will be an 8-megapixel unit for wide-angle shots. A single 16-megapixel shooter will sit on the front.
Doogee’s upcoming handset will include a 6,000mAh battery, and it will support 33W fast wired charging. The charger will be included in the box. It will also support 15W wireless charging.
This smartphone will arrive in three colors with two finishes. The Knight Black and Red variants will include a carbon fiber finish, while the Phantom Gray will get an AG frost matte finish.
The Doogee V20 will be waterproof, drop-proof, and shockproof. It will be MIL-STD-810G certified, by the way, and you’ll be able to use it in extreme temperatures.
