Eureka debuted a new robot vacuum filled with industry-firsts at IFA 2024
It should come as no surprise that Eureka has earned a Best of IFA 2024 award from Android Headlines, given how many industry-first the new J15 Pro Ultra sports. Eureka has turned the entire robot vacuum industry on its head with this announcement, including the highest suction power on a robot vacuum at 16,200Pa. This is just as strong as Eureka’s own canister vacuum, bringing the robot vacuum into parity with canister vacuums.
Eureka is also revolutionizing robotic mopping this year, with a new comprehensive docking station. This station not only cleans the mop, as many others in the industry do already, but it also cleans the base station tray. You know, where all that dirt sits after cleaning the mop. This ensures that the entire vacuum, from base station to the vacuum is cleaned and ready for the next run.
Eureka’s FlexiRazor technology is the first of its kind
One of the common pain points with robot vacuums is, the brushes get tangled. It’s usually hair that gets tangled in the roller brush of the vacuum, and it can be a real pain to untangle. Some robot vacuums push the hair to the end of the brush, making it easy to just slide it off. But Eureka has done something different, in yet another industry-first.
FlexiRazor is a new technology that Eureka is debuting on the J15 Pro Ultra, which relies on high-density blades that operate at a rapid speed of 400 times per minute. The blades generate a reciproacting vibration measuring about 4mm. It encompasses the whole brush, and effectively removes wrapped hair. This should put an end to hair tangling once and for all.
Finally, Eureka did indeed add AI to the J15 Pro Ultra. Using IntelliView AI, the robot vacuum is able to detect different types of messes. Say there’s a spill in the kitchen, the J15 Pro Ultra is able to detect that using AI, and turn the vacuum around to mop the area first instead of vacuuming it first. This keeps the vacuum cleaner, and the mess from spreading even further. But most importantly, it eliminates clumps from forming in the dustbin.
