Panasonic has announced RZ-B120W earbuds at FA. These TWS (Truly Wireless Stereo) earbuds promise more than 6 hours of playtime on a single charge. Although feature-packed, these TWS earbuds lack ANC.
Panasonic launches RZ-B120W TWS earbuds with Bluetooth 5.3 support
At the ongoing 100th Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin or IFA, Panasonic showcased multiple products. However, one of the most notable ones has to be the RZ-B120W TWS earbuds. These earbuds follow the RZ-B110W that arrived last year and offered decent audio quality at an attractive price point.
The Panasonic RZ-B120W TWS earbuds promise to run for around 6.5 hours on a single charge. The charging case can add up to 19.5 hours of additional playtime. Simply put, fully charged, these earbuds can offer about 24 hours of playtime. Panasonic has also reportedly embedded sensors in the RZ-B120W which sense simple taps. Users can tap the side of an earbud and say the wake word to summon Siri and Google Assistant.
Panasonic promises the RZ-B120W earbuds have excellent sound and powerful bass for their size. The “Clear Stereo Sound” claim could turn out to be true owing to the inclusion of XBS. There’s a 7mm dynamic driver in each earbud.
When will Panasonic start selling the new earbuds and at what price?
The RZ-B120W supports Bluetooth 5.3. Although this standard is fairly recent, the new Panasonic earbuds will miss out on AuraCast and other Bluetooth 5.4 features.
Also missing from the feature list is Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Nonetheless, this audio accessory seems to be intended for heavy workouts as the earbuds are IPX4-rated.
Panasonic has announced the RZ-B120W earbuds. However, the company hasn’t stated its retail price yet. Some reports suggest these earbuds could be priced below $150, presumably because they lack ANC.
