Anker is launching several new products at the IFA 2024 event. The company is refreshing its popular audio product lineup with the Soundcore Space One Pro and Soundcore Select 4 Go. The former are premium over-ear headphones, while the latter are highly affordable and durable stereo speakers.
The Soundcore Space One Pro, Anker’s latest premium headphones
Anker designed the Soundcore Space One Pro with comfort in mind. The wireless headphones boast a five-segment headband and three-joint separation, so you can find the perfect fit for you. The headband has a pressure-relieving construction, while the padded foam ear cups ensure you can listen to music for hours without discomfort to your ears. The foldable design of the Soundcore Space One Pro allows you to reduce its size by up to 50%, making them ideal for travel.
While comfort is great, one also expects premium headphones to offer premium sound quality. With that in mind, Anker used large 40mm triple-composite drivers with PEEK and polyurethane diaphragms. The implemented materials guarantee a super low THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) of less than 3% and a powerful yet detailed output. The headphones support the LDAC codec for lossless-quality audio from compatible sources. It also supports the classic AAC and SBC codecs, in addition to Bluetooth 5.3.
There’s a Soundcore app that offers some nice extra audio features. HearID 2.0 creates a sound profile tailored to your hearing preferences after a short test. Plus, the app offers customizable EQ settings. You can also set Dolby Audio and Google Fast Pair from the Soundcore app. Of course, there’s ANC support with a 4-stage adaptive algorithm that works together with six microphones to reduce up to 45 dB of noise.
The Soundcore Space One Pro offers an impressive battery life of up to 60 hours of playback. That figure drops to 40 hours of playback with ANC enabled. Other features include Smart Chat, a system that pauses music playback when it detects a conversation and then automatically resumes it.
Anker packages the headphones with a carry pouch. However, for added protection while traveling, Anker offers a premium case made from synthetic materials with a smooth finish. The case uses an easy-to-use magnetic system with metal buttons. It’s also lightweight, weighing in at 3.47 ounces (about 98 grams).
The headphones will be available in the US on September 5 for $199.99. Folks in the EU and UK will receive them on September 19 for €199.99/£149.99. Anker will offer two colorways: Jet Black and Cream White. The optional travel case will be available on the same dates for $34.99/£29.99/€34.99.
The Anker Soundcore Select 4 Go, super affordable and durable portable speakers
Anker is also launching an audio product with a completely opposite approach to the previous one. The Soundcore Select 4 Go are very affordable stereo speakers focused on design, durability, and portability. The speakers boast a 5W sound output with deep bass, supporting TWS pairing to form a stereo setup with two units. You can customize the audio to your liking using a 9-band EQ through the Soundcore app.
The company integrated IP67 rating into the Soundcore Select 4 Go to ensure high durability. They can even survive immersion in water for 30 minutes. The speakers can offer up to 20 continuous hours of music playback. The Soundcore Select 4 Go will be available in the US in late September/early October for $24.99. Finally, it will be available in the UK on September 9 for £24.99.
