According to SamMobile, Samsung is rolling out the August 2024 security update to the Galaxy Tab S7’s international 4G LTE-enabled variant. After the update, your tablet’s firmware will change to “T875XXS8DXH1”. The update’s changelog suggests that the slate isn’t getting any major new features in the update.
Like many other Samsung flagship devices from 2020, the Galaxy Tab S7 has received three major new versions of Android in the previous updates. That said, the latest update for the tablet fixes 50 major security issues of moderate to critical levels. Besides, the new firmware also gets improved system stability and performance to offer a better Galaxy experience.
Samsung is rolling out the August 2024 update for the Galaxy Tab S7 over the air in a phased manner. It could take some time to reach all units and regions worldwide. Furthermore, you can go to your tablet’s Settings and open the Software Update section to manually check if the upgrade is available.

Notably, Samsung also updated three Galaxy A series smartphones to the August 2024 security level this week. The new firmware is rolling out for the Galaxy A32, Galaxy A54, and Galaxy A73 in select markets.
