TCL has entered the already crowded, robot vacuum space here at CES 2022. TCL has announced two new robot vacuum models in the Sweeva lineup, at CES this week. There is the Sweeva 6000 and Sweeva 6500. Both of which are very similar to each other. Basically, the only real difference is that the Sweeva 6500 has an auto-empty dock, while the Sweeva 6000 does not.
This is part of TCL’s plan to bring consumers smart products in every category. As the company also announced its new line of Breeva Smart Air Purifiers today at CES 2022 as well.
TCL’s Sweeva robot vacuums boast powerful suction
The new Sweeva robot vacuums from TCL do offer up some pretty powerful suction. There’s also smart cleaning with customized clean zones. So you can ask Sweeva to clean up specific areas in your home, and it’ll do so with ease. The TCL app will allow you to select specific rooms to clean too.
Like most other robot vacuums on the market right now, Sweeva does have a LiDAR navigation system on the top. Which is going to allow it to map out your home, and clean it to perfection. It will also be able to avoid specific areas.
What’s interesting with this robot vacuum is that there are UV-C lights being used to sterilize your floors and kill germs. That’s not something we have seen on other robot vacuums in the past.
It works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and can be controlled from your new TCL Roku or Google TV.
TCL has not released pricing or availability on the Sweeva 6000 or Sweeva 6500 yet. So we don’t expect it to be available anytime soon. But expect this to compete with the cheaper robot vacuums. We’d expect this to retail for around $300-$400. Seeing as it does not have as many features as some of the newer options from Roborock, iRobot and even Neato.
