The Google Keep AI list-building feature is now available to all Pixel owners. Smartphones from other manufacturers too can get all the benefits of the new feature with a subscription.
Google Keep AI-driven “Help Me Create a list” feature heading to all Pixel smartphones
The Google Pixel 9 series smartphones are a part of the bigger Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) revolution for the Android OS ecosystem. In addition to launching the flagship Android smartphones, Google also announced several Gen AI features.
One of the latest AI features discovered on the Pixel 9 is an AI-powered list-building tool in the Google Keep app. Unlike several other exclusive features, the Google Keep AI listing-building feature will be available to all Pixel smartphone owners.

As the name implies, the “Help me create a list” feature in Google Keep helps create myriad lists. Needless to say, Google Gemini is the main AI engine driving this feature.
Spotted earlier this year, the Google Keep AI listing-building feature helps create to-do lists, grocery lists, and much more. With RAM reserved for on-device AI, Pixel 9 users can quickly create a lot of lists with AI collating and processing data from multiple sources. However, the feature is reportedly available to smartphones from other manufacturers as well.
How other smartphones can get the new Google Keep Help Me Create a list feature?
Back when “Help me create a list” feature in Google Keep surfaced on the internet, it was assumed Google would restrict the feature to the Pixel series. However, folks at Android Authority managed to get the AI list-building feature running on a stock Xiaomi device.
Interestingly, smartphone users who rely on Gen AI can also use the new AI list-building feature. Moreover, users need not get a subscription to Google One AI Premium.

Google Keep on other smartphones has the feature. However, without the aforementioned subscription, the number of requests users can make is limited.
If users are not interested in using the AI listing-building feature in Google Keep, the latest version of the app allows switching the feature off. Google would also allow disabling Gemini AI in Google Messages and Gmail.
