Thank You, Next is one of the biggest Netflix international successes of 2024. The show continues to perform well in the country’s top 10s, leading to a very early season 3 renewal, with season 2 yet to be released.

Starring Serenay Sarıkaya, Metin Akdülger, and Hakan Kurtaş, Thank You, Next burst onto Netflix in mid-May 2024 with the eight-episode series detailing the events after a painful breakup that saw a young lawyer dive head first into the confusing world of modern dating.

Season 2 was renewed in May 2024, with Netflix’s Turkish social media accounts confirming the show’s return for future episodes. It looks like they wasted no time getting the show back into production.

The series continues to be a big hit in Turkey, with the show still in the daily TV top 10s 62 days after release. The show garnered 80,200,000 viewing hours in the five weeks it was in the Netflix global top 10s, equating to 13.7M total views.

The news comes from Turkish journalist Birsen Altuntaş, who writes for Birsen Altuntaş and has been on top of Netflix’s Turkish slate of movies and series for many years now. In her report, it states that the second season is currently filming, and rather than waiting to see the performance of season 2 when it drops on Netflix (likely in 2025), the streamer has already pulled the trigger on a third season.

The report adds (translated into English), “Shooting of the third season of Thank You, Next is planned to begin in October.”

Thank You, Next is one of several Turkish shows getting additional seasons at Netflix with others including Another Self (season 2 due out on July 11th) and Shahmaran (season 2 due out on August 8th) plus Midnight at the Pera Palace and The Life and Movies of Erşan Kuneri renewed for second seasons. That’s in addition to the slate of new Turkish Netflix Originals currently in the works.

We’ll have more on Thank You, Next as and when we get it. Until then, let us know in the comments below if you’re happy Netflix has already decided to move forward on a season 3 of the drama.
