Samsung‘s upcoming Galaxy S22 series has been leaked extensively over the past few months, revealing the detailed specs and design of all three models. We also know all the color variants the three phones will be available in. There will be plenty of choices here. Now, as we get closer to their launch next year, we are getting to visualize those color variants in high-res 3D CAD renders. Yesterday, we saw the Galaxy S22 Ultra in its Dark Red and Green shades. Today, we have the Pink Gold Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+, courtesy of the same source.
These renders are based on the hexadecimal color code #E2B9B3, shared by tipster Ahmed Qwaider. Interestingly, the golden variant of the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ was previously called Rose Gold. But Qwaider claims that Samsung will call this color Pink Gold. Recent reports suggest the two phones will also come in white, black, green, blue, gray, and beige colors. The latter will get a purple variant as well.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra, meanwhile, will come in black, white, green, and dark red colors. As said before, we have already seen the renders of the latter two variants. However, Qwaider begs to differ here. He claims that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will not come in red color at all. It will not get this Pink Gold hue either. Perhaps the phone’s fourth colorway will be this Mauve-ish shade that we recently saw in what appears to be a leaked official press render. Or maybe, there will be more than four color choices. Things should get clearer as the launch gets closer.
As always, not all color variants will be available in all regions. Samsung tends to keep a few of them exclusive to its online store. It will quite likely do so with the Galaxy S22 series as well.
All three Galaxy S22 models will get a glass back
Samsung used a plastic back panel on the base models of its last two flagships — Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Note 20. But reports suggest it will switch to glass for all three Galaxy S22 models. According to Qwaider, it will be an anti-fingerprint glass material with a stronger protective layer on top. The new phones will boast a 12.5 percent better protection on the back than their predecessors.
Samsung is reportedly planning to unveil the Galaxy S22 series on February 9, 2022. With less than two months to go, we expect to hear more about the trio in the coming weeks.
