“This is one bird who just can’t be caged… Feathers McGraw is back!” The new Wallace and Gromit movie is here, and has now officially been titled Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. As revealed by Netflix, the long-awaited animated outing will bring back the beloved villain Feathers McGraw, who was last seen way back in 1993’s Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers, with the movie all set to debut on the streaming platform this winter.
Alongside the title and story details, the first teaser and images from Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl have also now been unveiled, and you can check them out below alongside the official synopsis:
“In this next installment, Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents a “smart” gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own. When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master … or Wallace may never be able to invent again!”
Directed by Aardman Animations’ Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham, Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl will star Ben Whitehead as the voice of Wallace, who takes over from original star Peter Sallis, who sadly passed away in 2017. Both Gromit and Feathers McGraw are silent, but the rest of the cast includes the likes of Peter Kay (Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit), Lauren Patel (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie), Reece Shearsmith (Inside No.9), Diane Morgan (Cunk on Earth), Adjoa Andoh (Bridgerton), Muzz Khan (Wonka), and Lenny Henry (The Pirates! Band of Misfits).
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl Will Debut on Netflix This Winter
Now known as one of the most notorious criminal masterminds in animation, nay, cinematic history, Feathers McGraw has not been seen since being put behind bars at the end of 1993’s The Wrong Trousers. A penguin who pretends to be a chicken with the clever use of a red rubber glove, McGraw’s initial scheme was to use Wallace’s techno-trousers to steal a diamond from the city museum. Now, all these years later, he’s back for revenge.
“One of our most asked questions is ‘when will Feathers come back?’” Crossingham said of the character’s return. “Well now is the time and he’s back with a vengeance.”

With upcoming projects in the works, let’s decide which of the famous stop-motion studio’s films comes out on top.
For Nick Park, returning the world of Wallace and Gromit 16 years after the release of 2008’s A Matter of Loaf and Death was like “meeting up with family friends.”
“Returning to Wallace and Gromit is like meeting up with family friends. People respond to them because they feel so familiar. They’re like an old, married couple in some ways, who know each other so well –– it’s a sort of love/hate relationship, but when the chips are down, they are always there for each other. Wallace pushes Gromit’s loyalty to the extreme, and Gromit always wants Wallace to change. It’s something everyone can relate to.”
