TECNO has launched a special edition of its Camon 30 series in collaboration with Loewe, the Spanish luxury fashion brand. The new look of the devices seeks to combine technology, style, and sustainability. These devices, especially the “Pro” and “Premier” variants, have a strong focus on design and photography.
TECNO Camon 30 series Loewe Edition uses bio-based materials
According to TECNO, the Camon 30 series Loewe has a unique rear cover made from recycled coffee grounds. The company claims that these devices are the first in the industry to use such material. The USDA gave them their “Bio-based” certification, meaning that about 25% of the back cover comprises bio-based material. TECNO used around 0.8g of waste coffee grounds in the rear area of each unit.
The company also boasts of having used an ecological manufacturing process. They claim that everything was powered by solar energy without using organic solvents or additional water consumption. This results in a leather-like texture that gives an extra touch of style while improving grip and resistance.
The look of the rear cover shows different shades of green that fade. This design is inspired by the natural process of the growth of tree leaves. This is complemented by a plate that was already present in the original design, but now it can be golden, too. The flat frame of the device is also gold or silver in color. Overall, the TECNO Camon 30 Loewe Edition looks quite stylish.
Tech specs are still the same
That said, the technical specifications on all models remain the same. The “Pro” and “Premier” variants are powered by the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset. Meanwhile, the vanilla 5G and 4G versions are powered by the Dimensity 7020 and Helio G99 chipsets, respectively. It also maintains AI-powered features such as AI Erase and algorithms specially designed to capture skin tones in the most realistic way possible.
