Fans of Black Desert are in for a treat, as Pearl Abyss just announced some new content for the game. During its CalpheON live event, the company talked about all of the new content that’s coming to the game. Also, it talked about the new Mountain Of Eternal region.
In case you don’t know what Black Desert is
Back in 2015, Korean game developer Pearl Abyss released Black Desert for Windows. Since then, it’s reached PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Android, and iOS platforms.
Black Desert is a massively multiplayer online RPG that takes place in a large sandbox world. Though it’s a free and open-world game, there’s still a solid story surrounding everything.
There’s a war going on between two rival civilizations, the Calpheons and the Kingdom of Valencia. It’s largely a single-player experience for the beginning of the game, but you’ll, eventually, be tossed into the large multiplayer landscape. You’ll progress through the storyline, fight enemies, level up and earn wealth.
The Mountain of Eternal region is full of new stuff
Starting off the new content is a new region called the Mountain of Eternal. This will introduce an entirely new environment for players to explore. It’s a huge snow-capped mountain with new environments, characters, and creatures.
On the Mountain of Eternal, there will be new missions for players to complete and there will also be new activities. These activities include snow fishing and even snowboarding. There will be tons to explore in that beautiful and expansive snowy landscape.
There will be improvements to classes
There’s a large array of characters classes that you can choose when starting the game. A fair amount of those classes are going to get some improvements in an upcoming update. This upcoming update is called Class reboot.
In this update, 17 of the available classes will be getting some changes. They will be getting some visual upgrades; not only that, but they will also get some changes to their stats. The classes will be more balanced to help keep things fair during PVP battles.
Season Server is coming back for the winter season
Season server is a really popular server among players. It’s designed for fast growth for new characters. This server is making a comeback for the winter season. The main focus of this server is helping players grow more efficiently.
